Emissions Accounting

The majority of energy-related activities produce carbon emissions. Determining the emissions produced by a company – or even an individual – requires many considerations. The vast variety of available accounting methods can make quantifying emissions impacts very difficult. Properly quantifying carbon impacts can help identify potential emission reduction measures, helping to achieve zero-carbon solutions in the real world.

Solar

Solar energy is paving the way for renewables around the world. It is now rapidly becoming cost competitive with conventional, fossil fuel-based power generation in many jurisdictions. Greater solar deployment can lead to overall cleaner energy and enhanced local energy resiliency, particularly when paired with energy storage options. Wide deployment of solar energy is central to unlocking our clean energy future.

Green Buildings

Buildings consume energy from a variety of sources for a variety of purposes. Retrofitting existing buildings and performing energy modelling for new buildings can help drastically reduce a building’s carbon footprint. Combining energy efficiency measures with renewable energy and energy storage will help move buildings of all types towards the zero-carbon buildings of the future.

Smart Grid Icon

Smart Grid

Smart grids tie together renewable energy, internet-of-things devices, buildings and communities to make dynamic energy-related decisions. They can provide increased resiliency and facilitate distributed, renewable generation potential, leading to efficiency gains across numerous system components. Smart grid solutions can provide extensive energy and carbon savings for virtually any type of energy system.
