The Affordable Retrofit Program Design Toolkit comprises a series of free documents produced as part of Volta Research’s CMHC-funded project. The Toolkit provides guidance on how energy efficiency loan programs for single-family homes can be structured to include features that ensure housing is made more affordable for program users.
Each document within the Toolkit can help program administrators with different aspects of program guidelines. The documents linked below can be used by program administrators ad hoc or as a collection to help increase a program’s focus on affordability.
